Legal Awareness Campaign 2026 Held at DIET Lawngtlai

The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Lawngtlai, in collaboration with the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Lawngtlai, organised a Legal Awareness Campaign 2026 under the Nasha Jagriti Scheme 2025 for Pre-Service Teacher Trainees on Dt.8.09.2026

The programme aimed to create awareness among teacher trainees about legal rights, responsibilities, and the importance of developing a responsible and law-abiding society. The session provided an opportunity for the trainees to gain a better understanding of relevant legal provisions and issues affecting individuals and society.

Smt. Nelly H. Lalrammuani, Advocate, served as the Resource Person and delivered an informative session on legal awareness, highlighting the importance of knowing one's rights and duties and seeking appropriate legal assistance when required.

The campaign was interactive and beneficial for the PSTE trainees, contributing to their professional and social development as future educators. The programme concluded with a renewed commitment to promote legal awareness and responsible citizenship among students and the wider community.
