Candle lighting&Pledge 

We, the graduates of District Institute of Education and Training, Lawngtlai, hereby pledge that we shall, in thought, word and deed endeavour to be honest in the discharge of our duties as educators, that in all circumstances, we shall uphold the dignity and integrity of our profession and the honour of our institute and nation. Furthermore,  we pledge to explore and take into account the social and environmental consequences of our job.
